Rex T. (Philippines) - Unfortunately his biological father (Navy) is deceased , but paternal grandmother
and two half-sisters located and have been reunited- March 2006-"I received a phone call from my
grandmother,, last night and she read your letter to me. It appears, based on the information in your letter, that
your half-brother, Rex, is also my half-brother. We also have a half-sister named Jennifer. I was in shock when she
read the letter to me as I had no idea of Rex's existence. But, I am glad to know now, and I will help in any way if he
wants to know more about his father."-Rex's newly found half-sister Denise -this is my brother as well
and two half-sisters located and have been reunited- March 2006-"I received a phone call from my

with her father Ronald Watson (US Navy) October 2006- Latonya' sister says: "So far my sister got in touch
with her aunt regina watson but she havent spoken to her father yet its him that her aunt recognize her as apart
of family. As of me! im still thinking if im going to contact my father.im feel im still not ready for what will happen
and im not ready for the possible rejection.but i will contact him some day if i feel im ready for what ever happen

Thematty Ford is now in touch with his father Ira (Navy) February 2007- Thematty says: " Good evening mam

Even though this case was originally referred to A.F.F. to search for the birth father of both Mary
and Johnathon, A.F.F. was able to find their birth mother Ms. Bich in Vietnam! Both Mary and
Johnathon were adopted during Operation Babylift and are looking forward to seeing their mother in
April 2007. Thanks to a joint effort with Adopted Vietnamese International and the Amerasian
Foundation this reunion was possible. The search will continue for their birth father "Roger."-

Johnathon says: "We have not contacted each other directly but I feel as though I know you.
I'm glad you and my sister were able to communicate and find our mother. I want to take this
time and thank you for your hard work. It's people like you that make the world a better and
closer place"
Mary says: "WOW! If you only know how this all happened you would be amazed. It all
started with my brother two weeks ago telling me where we both was born and our
Vietnamese name. I was surfing military web sites on the VN war in the Gia Dinh providence
and came on a like on Vietnamese orphans and to your web site and the AVI website. Once
again thank you for everything you have done."

| Michael Ericksen (Philippines) was reunited with his father Steven Ericksen (Navy) solving an over 20 year old mystery! August 2006 "I just got off the phone with Steven Ericksen,Sr. :D I did a three way with Steven, Michael and myself, and it was a tearful reunion! Everything turned out wonderful and I want to thank the both of you for all your help in making this possible!....Steven has been looking for Michael and since his mother had changed his name there was no way of him finding his son. Steven has been waiting for this day and now it is time for healing. Michael asked me to thank you for all your help and to tell you that you all are in his prayers.
